Lately I have been working on some of my fitness goals. I'll share with you a little bit of my history as far as fitness and training goes. I was a pretty good athlete in my teenage years--especially high school. I was a champion in my weight class in wrestling for two years straight.
But my twenties brought a few unfortunate changes in my life. I started drinking and partying in college (it's kind of cliché, I know, but it's true of my life). My lifestyle became really unhealthy and I gained a lot of weight. I was not an alcoholic, but I was a far cry from my former athletic self. Some of these patterns continued into my professional life. At some point I realized this all had to change. Life just wasn't good when my body was so out of shape. I remember someone telling me about using ephedrine and caffeine: the "eca stack" in order to lose weight. I tried it and found it to be very effective. It controlled my appetite like nothing I had ever tried before. It also gave me some energy for my workouts. I put some serious planning into my diet and training, and the before-mentioned eca fat burner really helped me. In no time I was feeling better as my body fat levels went down and my self-confidence went up. I need to emphasize that there's no such thing as a "magic bullet" for weight loss. You can't just take a pill and expect to get in better shape. The eca stack just helped me comply with my diet and gave me a bit of an energy boost. While I'm on the subject of fitness: ladies, this video review is for you--it's a great program. I recently had the opportunity to visit the wonderful country known as the Philippines. I'll tell you a few things I loved about it. First and foremost, Filipinos are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. They are always smiling, grateful for their lives, and very hospitable to those from other countries. The call it Filipino hospitality and they pride themselves on it--they are doing a great job of living up to this reputation. I also really enjoyed the beaches. This country is home to some breathtaking scenes that you can enjoy. You may just want to lie on the sand, but here are also plenty of places where you can snorkel or scuba dive if that's your interest. Beach lovers owe it to themselves to visit the Philippines at least once. The food is also really good. I loved trying classics such as chicken adobo and beef tapa. The mango is the best you'll ever taste anywhere. Last (but definitley not least) is the beautiful Filipino women. Their dark skin, hair, and eyes gives them an exotic beauty like I've never seen anywhere else. And if you happen to be a bachelor there's a good chance that you'll find plenty of them interested in dating you. I can't wait to go back! |
